Introduction

Ebry Dobby, LLC (or “we”) built thePlates Family Travel Game app (or “Plates”, or “the app”) as a Freemium app. This app is provided by Ebry Dobby, LLC at no cost and is intended for use as is.

We understand how important privacy is to you and your family, which is why we are committed to creating a safe and secure environment that family members of all ages can enjoy.

This Privacy Policy is used to inform website visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information of anyone who has decided to use our Platesapp. If you choose to use Plates, then you agree with this policy.

Information Collection and Use Plates requests permission to access the location-based information from your mobile device while you are using the app. If you grant the app permission to use your device's location services, Plates records the date and your current location each time you mark a license plate as being found. These recorded locations are used to plot your trip in the Map application and are not shared with any 3rd-parties. These recorded locations are only stored on your device. If you wish to change Plates access to your mobile device's location services, do so in your device’s settings. The Plates app does include and allow In-App Purchases (IAPs). All IAP transactions (purchases) initiated from the Plates app are processed by the Apple iTunes App Store. No personal or financial information used during the IAP transaction is used or retained by Plates. If you make any IAP payments in the app, then the Apple iTunes App Store's terms and conditions/EULA applicable to IAP will also apply. Other than your collecting location information if given your permission, Plates does not knowingly collect any privacy or device information. However, Plates does use 3rd-party services that may collect information used to identify you. Plates uses 3rd-party services in these ways:

  • Plates displays an Ad banner. AdMob is the 3rd-party ad service used for displaying ads within the app. Ebry Dobby, LLC is not responsible for the content of these ads. When clicking on an ad in the app, you will be directed to a website. These websites are not operated by Ebry Dobby, LLC and therefore Ebry Dobby, LLC has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of these websites. If any information is collected by 3rd-parties, Plates does not use or even know if it exists. See  for more information.
  • Plates has a link to websites. On the About screen, Plates includes a website link to Ebry Dobby, LLC's homepage. Ebry Dobby, LLC does not collect any information when you visit this webpage. If any information is collected by the browser app used to visit our homepage, Plates does not use or even know if it exists.
  • Plates has a way to start a mail application. On the About screen there is a link that starts the default mail application. This link provides a way to contact Ebry Dobby, LLC with any issues or questions you may have with Plates. Ebry Dobby, LLC does not know the mail application's policy regarding the collection of personal and device information. If any information is collected by the mail application, Plates does not use or even know if it exists.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use of the Plates application is deemed approval of all changes.
